I recently watched this video with Will Smith about his wisdom in life and I absolutely had to share it with you. I’ve always admired Will Smith. The video is just under 10 minutes long so take the time to watch it without distraction. If you have a drive to do something in your life, here is some motivation to keep you moving forward…

This is awesome! Everyone should listen to this and apply it to their lives. Thank you for sharing.
While some of the beliefs presented by Mr Smith have merit, such as it is better to create a positive and active role in our life rather than just reacting to situations, I find his over-emphasized rhetoric rather reminiscent of much of the Scientology based screed used by Tom Cruise in his rather disastrous leaked Scientology footage. While Will Smith has never publicly said he is a Scientologist, this video shows enough of him using Scientology terms to raise some flags for me. I am not impressed by someone pushing the ideas of an organization that fronts as a religion to gain tax-exempt status while committing crimes against basic human rights.
There are some merits to Will Smiths comments and I am observing without retrospect to any religious beliefs or organizations. I firmly believe what our mind can concieve and believe, we definitely can achieve. Making the most of life, using your skills, making choices yourself, not having others do it for you; taking control, never letting someone put you down. And, remembering that the meaning of successful is not the same for everyone. Money pays the bills, buys things but depending on how you get it….are you able to hold your head high and look yourself in the mirror. Personally, the power of positive thinking and believing in ones self means alot and can take you far in life. Beliefs can be good. So can goals and kindness. Inspiration can be good. Just my thoughts….
Hi everyone,
I agree with Linda. With Will’s way of thinking, we are not simply living beings, but active in our role to always try to be better.
I appreciate all of your views and responses.Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
